I got sick a total of six times, four times being basic colds and the other two being strep throat and norovirus.
Visited South Carolina twice. Went to both NYC, DC, & Seattle.
I baked my first ever cake. Mind you, I’ve made cupcakes and cookies in the past, but never a full blown cake.
Discovered Strawberries. I could not get enough.
I was a blonde for a few months and then I dyed my hair red.
Learned how to can stuff. Made my own pickles and strawberry jam.
Said goodbye to Ziggy.
Had car trouble twice – once before leaving Maryland (oil pan leaking) and once in Portland (battery died).
Moved cross-country from Baltimore, Maryland to Portland, Oregon. Took a total of five days. Drove through, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Wisconsin, Minnesota, North Dakota, Montana, and Washington before reaching Oregon.
Met some awesome people in Oregon and Washington.
Got a new tattoo.
Ate my first waffle.
Went on a a lot of dates in Oregon. One of those dates was with someone that is semi-famous to me.
Went to my first strip club.
Drank a lot of beer. I mean, A LOT. I even drank a beer on top of the Space Needle.
Went to one real concert at the Merriweather in Columbia, MD to see The Postal Service. I saw Anthony Green play a mini show at Millennium Records in Portland and got him to sign my vinyl after the show.
Had a real job for the first time in 7 years, even if it was only temporary, it was a huge step in the right direction for me.
Lost 40 pounds in 6 months.
I finished another 365 day photo project.
Now that the year is wrapping up, I’m packing up all of my stuff and I’ll be headed back to Baltimore. I really hate to leave the Pacific Northwest, but I am pretty sure I will be back when the time is right.
