Panduh!

I obtained the most awesome nail color (Mermaid’s Dream) ever and painted my nails. Wheeee. They look so pretty and I smile everytime I look down at my fingers or see a flash of color when I’m doing something with my hands. Hooray for girly times!

I felt so silly taking that photo because I see people doing that all the time on pintrest. I almost did it to be funny, I think.

I’ve been eating like crap for the past couple of weeks and its really starting to catch up to me. Blargh. I’ve had intense stomach aches and really bad headaches over the past couple of days. Pretty awful. Lesson learned.. for now.

Also, out of the blue, I’ve gotten the urge to paint my nails. I haven’t done this since I was in middle school. I don’t know why, but I am quite embarrassed that I am all of a sudden wanting to paint my fangernails. To make things worse, I bought a dress this past week. I can probably count on one hand how many times I’ve worn a dress in my lifetime. WHY am I getting these girly urges??!

I finally broke down and just made an appointment at a salon to get my hair dyed a crazy color since I don’t have anyone around here to help me just do it myself. I tried to get James to help me out and it was complete fail. So, right now, my hair is pretty awful looking, color-wise.

Woe is me.

Its a wonder what a little bit of social interaction does for my moods. It makes me feel a lot better & happier. I just wish I found it easy to talk to people all the time.

Anyway, I had a good day with a friend in the city getting a 13 dollar tattoo (Friday the 13th). It was really spontaneous and spur of the moment which just adds onto the awesomeness.

Ice cream cone. Yay.

I made another short vlog for you people that don’t care because I can. Hooray.

Still trying to fight out this cold that I wish would just disappear. Its quite annoying coughing all the time. I will admit, I haven’t been taking any medicine for it for a few days, mainly because I forgot. Oops. I just remembered and I took some, so hopefully that will help.

I wasted most of my day so far by playing Zuma on facebook. Stupid Popcap games! Why do you have to be so effin addictive?! I haven’t been productive at all today. Oh well. I’ll make up for it tomorrow, perhaps.

Its a rainy day, and do you know what that means? I’m craving coffee. I’m just feeling too lazy to go get it. Woe is me.

I made a new vlog which entails me talking about my weekend. Not very exciting, but I was a little too lazy to write up a whole post about it.

Today was quite productive for me. I started the laundry, tackled a mountainous pile of dishes, went to the gym, & put dinner in the oven. I made a mexican bean casserole for dinner. I haven’t made that in awhile, so I’m looking forward to eating it.

Now, I’m going to relax and start planning my NYC trip that I’m going to take in a couple of weeks. Hooray!

A couple of Saturdays ago I went to the Japanese Street Festival in DC. I was pretty excited about going, and it did turn out to be a good day. DC is turning out to be one of my favorite places to hang out, as of recently.

There was lots of food, live music, vendors, performances, and people in all sorts of different costumes. I probably stayed there for about an hour before I wandered off back into the city. Never in my life did I imagine that I would be eating lo mein in the middle of Pennsylvania Avenue (It was probably the best lo mein I’ve ever eaten, too!).

I wish I would’ve taken a lot more money than I did. There was lots of stuff I wanted to take home with me. I ended up with a Hello Kitty mask, some I Heart Guts stickers, and a Japanese marble soda. I only actually took one picture while I was at the street fest and it was kinda a dull one. So, I spruced it up with a filter in light room to make it look somewhat more interesting?

My weekend was supposed to be filled with booze and stuff. Then a sore throat came along on thursday, which was later accompanied by earaches. The sore throat was gone by Saturday, but then there was THE COUGH. I coughed up my lungs twice this weekend. Whatever the fuck I had, is now on its way out of my body. Just a slight cough. Thanks Dayquil & Tropicana, you’re the best!

So, in short, I spent all weekend looking at pictures of Anthony Green and counting down the days until I get to see him play live, making my annual summer mix playlist, & coughing.

My dog Oscar really likes to eat things he isn’t supposed to, but I’m sure that is common with most dogs. Today, he got a hold of a small foam party favor-esque ball from St. Patty’s day that I had. SOMEONE -not me- was playing with the ball earlier and forgot to pick it up off the floor. The end result? Oscar found it and ate some of it.

I was a little angry at first. Not at Oscar, but at the irresponsible person that left it on the floor for him to eat. Blah.

I was going to make a list of all the things buggin’ me today, but instead I made a vlog because I was too lazy to type everything out.

Also, on a positive note, I get my iMac back today. It is fixed apparently. Hooray!

I was browsing facebook yesterday and happened to see that Anthony Green made a post about playing in Baltimore. I then proceeded to lose my shit and transform into an excited school girl. Anything Anthony does is my absolute favorite and I have been waiting on the opportunity to get to see him play live.. Well here is my chance and I am flippin’ excited about it.

I can tell you exactly where I was, what I was doing, and what I was feeling when I first heard Anthony. It was Miracle Sun. It takes me back to a time and place where I truly felt happy. It reminds me of being in love, spring time, and it gives me goosebumps all over just about everytime I hear anything by Anthony.

I am an absolute fan girl. Yep. I am one of those.
